Job description

The Treasury Operations Associate is a vital member of the Treasury team, supporting daily operations related to banking, payments, and the flow of funds. This role ensures the efficient management of bank accounts, the accurate processing of payments, and the seamless tracking of cash movements to support the company's financial operations.

The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Treasury functions, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving processes. They will collaborate across teams, maintain compliance with internal controls, and contribute to enhancing the efficiency of Treasury operations. What You'll Be Doing
  • Bank Account Management: Assist in the administration of bank accounts, including account openings, closings, and maintenance of account signatories.
  • Payment Processing: Support daily payment operations, including initiating and verifying wire transfers, ACH payments, and other fund transfers.
  • Flow of Funds Tracking: Monitor and reconcile the flow of funds across accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Banking Relationship Support: Serve as a liaison with banking partners, addressing routine inquiries and ensuring timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Treasury System Support: Help maintain and operate the Treasury Management System (TMS), ensuring accurate data entry and system functionality.
  • Daily Cash Operations: Prepare daily cash position reports and assist in managing liquidity needs to support business activities.
  • Internal Reporting: Provide support for internal reporting processes, including periodic updates on payment activity, cash positions, and account balances.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all activities comply with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements, maintaining proper documentation for audit purposes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve treasury operations, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual effort.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, such as Accounting and Finance, to ensure smooth treasury operations and accurate reporting.
Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Minimum 1+ years professional experience in Accounting/Finance/Treasury
  • Experience with processing payments and tracking flow of funds across accounts from within a bank portal, a Treasury Management System, or both, is required
  • Proficiency with MS Excel
  • Familiarity with internal controls and experience formalizing and maturing processes
  • Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with the Treasury and Accounting functions
  • Some familiarity with bank account services & payment features; familiarity with bank fee analysis is a plus

COMPENSATION RANGE

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $32.00-41.00 an hour. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for new hires for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors like job-related skills, experience, and state of residence. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the interview process. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting (approximately 95%), repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require occasional standing, lifting, carrying of 20lbs or less, walking, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, and reaching above the shoulder. Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
