Heritage Financial Credit Union is seeking a Treasury Operations Analyst to support daily reconciliation, settlement, and cash management for core payment channels including ACH, ATM, wires, Zelle, and currency activity.

The role is onsite in New York and emphasizes strong internal controls, documentation, and balance sheet management. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in banking/treasury and a finance or accounting degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; equivalent work experience considered.
• 3-5 years of experience in credit union or bank operations, treasury, or accounting, preferably involving balance sheet management, daily general ledger balancing, reconciliations, ACH, wire, or ATM settlement processes.
• Knowledge of cash management and its important role to the Credit Union.
• Working knowledge of ACH, wire transfer, and ATM/card settlement processes.
• Familiarity with Federal Reserve clearing and settlement operations.
• Proficiency with core processing and reconciliation systems (e.g., Insight, Fiserv, Prologue, iDentifi, Client Central) or ability to learn proprietary systems quickly.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining internal controls and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Balance daily reconciliation of ACH, ATM, Zelle, and other settlements.
• Complete Day 2 balancing for ATM, mobile, and merchant deposits; resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile daily corporate credit union account activity.
• Reconcile daily Zelle activity with network reports.
• Manage custody of daily/weekly/monthly documentation for postings.
• Review daily ATM settlement reports for posting accuracy.
• Process wire transfers with corporate partners and fund cash orders.
• Support daily cash positioning, bank reconciliations, and liquidity monitoring.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and balance sheet strategy execution.
• Review weekly Accounts Payable runs to tighten controls and vendor payments.
