Job summary

HVMG is seeking a Treasury Manager to oversee cash management, banking relationships, and treasury operations for the management company and its hotels. You will ensure liquidity, accurate cash positioning, and strong banking relationships across the portfolio.

You will partner with hotels, ownership groups, and senior finance leadership to solve problems, strengthen controls, and drive treasury improvements while supporting month-end close and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting is required.
• 4–6 years of progressive treasury, cash management, or accounting experience.
• Prior experience managing banking relationships preferred.
• Hospitality industry experience, either corporate/regional or on-property, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage all banking relationships for the management company and hotels.
• Direct opening and closing of bank accounts across the portfolio.
• Approve and execute wires with appropriate controls.
• Oversee weekly cash positions for each property and coordinate funding as needed.
• Lead the opening and closing of merchant IDs and set up users for payment processing systems.
• Manage escheatment/unclaimed property for corporate accounts payable.
• Research outstanding checks and process voids and stop payments.
• Oversee annual 1099 reporting and filing for the management company.
• Process and reconcile miscellaneous deposits for the management company.
• Coordinate and prepare information for policy renewals and audits; prepare special reports.
• Manage issuance of certificates of insurance for properties, lenders, and investors.
• Support month-end closing activities related to treasury and cash accounts.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen cash controls.
• Problem-solve banking and treasury issues as they arise.
• Support the Corporate Director of Finance, SVP of Accounting and Finance, and CFO as needed.
