Job summary

VH Hospitality is seeking an Accounting Manager to support the Finance Department and assist the Controller and Assistant Controller in maintaining internal controls across hotel operations. You will help ensure timely completion of accounting reports and forecasts, with a focus on accuracy and process discipline.

The role requires strong knowledge of GAAP, solid banking reconciliations experience, and the ability to manage month-end processes and financial analyses for multiple properties.

Qualifications

• M3 experience and strong knowledge of internal controls required.
• Experience with GAAP and general ledger processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Controller and Assistant Controller in maintaining internal controls over hotel operations.
• Prepare and coordinate monthly forecasts, including quarterly reforecasts for owners.
• Review monthly financial statements and GL classifications with property managers.
• Prepare month-end reports including tax reporting packages.
• Coordinate hotel cash handling, reconciliations, and treasury reporting.
• Provide training to hotel operations on financial reports and expense controls.
