ABOUT THE JOB:

The Senior Treasury Analyst manages aspects of the Corporate Treasury function, including cash management, debt administration, bank account management, insurance captive, capital lease financing, analysis, and other related projects, including mergers and acquisitions. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining cash flow models and forecasts, monitoring and managing interest rate, currency, and credit risks. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with banking and other partners such as rating agencies. This position reports to the Director of Treasury and collaborates closely with the Treasury Manager, other corporate departments, and external partners on cross-functional projects to support company-wide initiatives and executive management. Critical skills include organizational, interpersonal, analytical, lateral thinking, and flexibility to shifting priorities.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

The successful candidate should possess the ability to:

  1. Support all aspects of cash operations, including administration of funds, bank account management, transaction monitoring, and cash position consolidation across decentralized accounts.
  2. Support cash forecasting through collaboration and automation to aid executive decision-making, providing variance explanations and advising on risks and opportunities.
  3. Ensure compliance with internal controls regarding cash movement and corporate borrowings.
  4. Manage captive cash and investments, ensuring adherence to investment policies and regulatory requirements.
  5. Assist with monthly debt reporting for the G/L team, management, and compliance, including activity analysis.
  6. Support capital market activities, including debt offerings and refinancings, through analysis and execution in collaboration with external banking and legal partners.
  7. Manage the quarterly dividend process with internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Oversee the annual fleet appraisal process.
  9. Support M&A activities, including critical closing tasks, bank relationships, and post-close integration.
  10. Manage liquidity through debt facilities.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: 4-5 years in Finance, Banking, or Accounting with a strong Treasury background. Certifications such as CTP, CPA, or CFA are a plus. A B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required.

Experience: Strong planning, organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, analytical, and lateral thinking skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential. Experience with cash forecasting, variance analysis, and transaction reconciliation is required. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and risk management is necessary. Teamwork, collaboration, and adaptability are critical, as is proficiency in MS Office and understanding of financial statements and global banking services.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Hybrid work environment with at least 2 days in the office per week. Periodic travel to the corporate office in Phoenix and potentially to banking or partner locations.
