The Senior Treasury Analyst manages aspects of the Corporate Treasury function, including cash management, debt administration, bank account management, insurance captive, capital lease financing, analysis, and other related projects, including mergers and acquisitions. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining cash flow models and forecasts, monitoring and managing interest rate, currency, and credit risks. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with banking and other partners such as rating agencies. This position reports to the Director of Treasury and collaborates closely with the Treasury Manager, other corporate departments, and external partners on cross-functional projects to support company-wide initiatives and executive management. Critical skills include organizational, interpersonal, analytical, lateral thinking, and flexibility to shifting priorities.
The successful candidate should possess the ability to:
Education: 4-5 years in Finance, Banking, or Accounting with a strong Treasury background. Certifications such as CTP, CPA, or CFA are a plus. A B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required.
Experience: Strong planning, organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, analytical, and lateral thinking skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential. Experience with cash forecasting, variance analysis, and transaction reconciliation is required. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and risk management is necessary. Teamwork, collaboration, and adaptability are critical, as is proficiency in MS Office and understanding of financial statements and global banking services.
Hybrid work environment with at least 2 days in the office per week. Periodic travel to the corporate office in Phoenix and potentially to banking or partner locations.
