McAllen Public Utility (MPU) seeks a finance professional to assist the Director of Finance for Utilities with the financial administration of MPU and the City of McAllen, focusing on cash management, investments and banking relationships. This role operates with limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.

You will help ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls while supporting MPU’s service-oriented mission for the City of McAllen.

Job description

The purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Finance for Utilities with the financial administration of the McAllen Public Utility (MPU) and operational aspects of cash management, investments and banking relations for the City of McAllen. This job works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.
