Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Treasury Management Operations Support Specialist to join our treasury management team. This role supports daily treasury management operations, customer onboarding, technical and operational services, and delivers high-quality support to both internal teams and external clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in banking operations and knowledge of treasury management products such as ACH, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), Positive Pay, Lockbox, and Wire Services. Based on experience, responsibilities may include supporting more complex onboarding processes, account analysis, customer training, service proposals, risk reviews, and process improvement initiatives. This position provides an excellent opportunity to deepen treasury management expertise within a collaborative, customer-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities
Position Summary
  • Treasury Management Operations: Process and reconcile treasury transactions including ACH transactions and returns, RDC activity, Positive Pay exceptions, check returns, armored carrier deposits, and pass-through deposits. Complete operational reports, checklists, reconciliations, and tracking activities accurately and on time. Manage third-party vendor fees and maintain complete operational and customer documentation. Develop and update custom reports using CRM and business intelligence tools. Support timely customer service by managing departmental email and voicemail.
  • Customer Onboarding & Support: Coordinate the onboarding and implementation of treasury management services. Collect, review, and maintain service agreements and documentation. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for treasury management platforms and products. Conduct customer training on applicable products, procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements. Monitor onboarding progress and ensure a positive and consistent customer experience.
  • Customer Service & Relationship Management: Offer responsive service to business customers and internal teams. Collaborate with relationship managers, business development, and branch staff to address customer needs. Respond promptly to inquiries and interest forms related to treasury management services. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and service discussions. Review account activity to identify customer needs and support service proposals.
  • Risk & Compliance: Gather and analyze account activity data to support ACH and RDC risk assessments and periodic reviews. Identify activity concerns and recommend updates to limits or controls as needed. Maintain accurate and compliant customer files. Adhere to organizational policies, internal controls, and relevant banking regulations. Stay informed on treasury management products, industry standards, and regulatory developments.
  • Team Collaboration: Engage in cross-training to ensure operational continuity. Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service quality. Support departmental projects and perform additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Level I: Minimum 1-2 years of banking experience.
  • Level II: Minimum 2-3 years of treasury management services, banking operations, or related financial experience.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Superior organization, time management, and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to provide both technical and operational support. Professional judgment, collaborative approach, and a commitment to accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in treasury management, cash management, commercial banking, or financial operations.
  • Support experience with ACH, RDC, Positive Pay, Lockbox, and Wire Services.
  • Skilled in using CRM and business intelligence reporting tools.
  • ACH Accredited Professional (AAP) certification or willingness to obtain within the first year.
  • Experience delivering customer training or presentations.
