Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation seeks a Treasury Management & Cards Sales Officer to grow treasury management and Commercial Card solutions. You’ll manage existing clients and pursue new business with a consultative approach, while aligning with risk policies and onboarding processes.

The role emphasizes prospecting, networking, and industry engagement to expand relationships and bottom-line growth. Bachelor’s degree and TM/CCM certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years banking experience with 2+ years in selling or supporting commercial or treasury services.
• Ability to prospect, network & influence at various levels within a company and with clients – self-motivated.
• Knowledge of Treasury Management products and services and corporate cash flow processes.
• Knowledge of market/industry trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of credit and operational risk.
• Knowledge of Commercial Payments & Cards and TM & card-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of existing clients with focus on revenue growth and retention.
• Grow revenue with new-to-bank clients through strategic treasury management and card solutions.
• Identify risks and ensure alignment with credit policies and risk management.
• Onboard and ramp sold services with clear client onboarding expectations.
• Engage in industry groups and events to expand market presence.
• Refer ancillary business opportunities to appropriate partners.
• Provide consultative treasury management solutions across liquidity cycles.
