Job summary

Global Technology Solutions Ltd is seeking a Treasurer to lead its Treasury and Financing function, accountable for strategy, execution and day‑to‑day management. The role requires deep broker‑dealer financing expertise, RBH mechanics, and strong relationships with banks, prime brokers, and clearing firms.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level Treasury and financing experience in sophisticated financial institutions.
• Deep broker‑dealer financing expertise including mechanics, liquidity, collateral and risk.
• Experience developing and negotiating with senior relationships across prime brokers, banks, clearing firms, and financing counterparties.
• Ability to develop and execute financing strategies to optimise the firm’s balance sheet.
• Strong knowledge of prime brokerage, clearing, secured financing, margin and collateral, funding structures.
• Experience operating at a senior leadership level in bank/prime brokerage and prop trading environments.
• Demonstrated drive to lead and evolve a critical firmwide function with technology, data and analytics.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with senior executives and trading teams.
• Experience with programming, scripting, statistical software and/or Excel modelling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the firmwide Treasury and financing function, setting strategy, priorities, operating model, and long‑term direction.
• Serve as the firm’s senior expert on broker‑dealer financing and optimise financing strategies.
• Manage relationships with prime brokers, banks and other counterparties; negotiate terms, collateral and credit arrangements.
• Optimise funding, liquidity, capital, collateral and balance‑sheet utilisation while balancing cost and risk.
• Oversee liquidity management including funding, cash concentration and investments.
• Develop robust liquidity forecasting, stress testing and management reporting.
• Oversee Treasury‑related risk including liquidity and FX exposures.
• Partner with Trading, Finance, Risk, Operations, Technology and Legal on growth opportunities.
• Define and execute the technology and data strategy for Treasury to increase automation and real‑time visibility.
• Leverage AI and analytics to improve forecasting, financing optimisation and controls.
• Provide senior management and Board with clear liquidity and capital insights.
• Establish Treasury policies, controls and governance.
• Build a high‑performing Treasury team combining financial markets and technology.
