Job summary

Point72 Asset Management, L.P. is seeking an experienced Technology specialist to join our front-office support team in New York.

You will help manage repurchase agreement trading, margin, and stock loan workflows, and you will diagnose and resolve production issues with urgency. The role requires a deep understanding of fixed income markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate with development and Treasury teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a front-office support role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.
• Strong understanding of fixed income products and financial markets workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment.
• Proficiency in database querying for data analysis and production issue investigation.
• Coding or scripting skills to support automation and problem resolution.
• Working knowledge of desktop operating environments and database-backed applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Treasury team across repurchase agreement trading, margin, and stock loan workflows.
• Diagnose root causes and coordinate fixes for production issues with urgency.
• Monitor mission-critical workflows, data feeds, and scheduled processes.
• Analyze application and data issues affecting financing, margin, and borrow activity.
• Collaborate with development teams to translate issues into clear requirements.
• Ensure applications, reports, and data flows are available and accurate.
• Coordinate application releases and post-deployment checks.
• Improve support processes with runbooks and controls.
• Collaborate across global Technology and Treasury teams for continuity.
• Provide off-hours support, including weekends, as required.
