Job summary

Morgan Stanley in New York seeks an Associate/Director in Treasury to support Firm funding within Corporate Treasury & Capital Planning. You will collaborate across Finance, lead key deliverables and ensure adherence to risk and regulatory standards while developing a holistic view of the balance sheet and funding allocations.

You will design and enhance Funds Transfer Pricing, perform quantitative analyses, assist in model validation and regulatory exams, support stress testing and forecasting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or IT-related field is a plus.
• 3-6 years' relevant experience.
• Strong excel and quantitative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance and other Firm colleagues on deliverables.
• Lead aspects of individual and team projects with knowledge of Finance and products.
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards; identify risk reductions.
• Develop a holistic view of the Firm balance sheet and allocate funding costs/benefits to business units.
• Support the design, implementation and enhancements of Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) methodologies.
• Perform quantitative analysis and present conclusions to senior stakeholders.
• Assist in model validation, governance docs and regulatory exams related to FTP.
• Support stress testing, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Mentor junior resources on the team.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across Corporate Treasury and front-office.
