Job summary

Aduro Advisors is looking for a Treasury Associate to support day-to-day treasury operations for venture capital and private equity clients. Reporting to the Treasury Manager, you will process wires, ACHs, and other payments, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in treasury or finance, a bachelor's in finance/accounting/business, and strong analytical and teamwork skills. This role supports a flexible, work-from-home setup across allowed US states.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in treasury operations, finance, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with Treasury Management systems, banking portals, and office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily treasury operations for clients, processing wires, ACH payments, and other types of payments.
• Execute payment instructions with proper documentation and records.
• Identify and escalate client service issues or discrepancies to the Treasury Manager or Head of Treasury.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with treasury software and banking portals for daily tasks.
• Support reconciliation activities and basic treasury reports.
• Collaborate with fund accounting and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Suggest minor process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support ad hoc projects for the Treasury Manager and Head of Treasury.

The Treasury Associate will report directly to the Treasury Manager and play a supportive role in the ongoing evolution of Aduro's service model. The Treasury Associate will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day treasury operations at Aduro Advisors. Reporting directly to the Treasury Manager, you'll be responsible for accurately processing a high volume of wires and other payment types for our Venture Capital and Private Equity fund clients. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of treasury operations, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Here is the type of work you will do:

• Assist with the daily treasury operations on behalf of clients, including the accurate and timely processing of wires, ACH payments, and other payment types.
• Execute payment instructions and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Identify and escalate potential client service issues or operational discrepancies to the Treasury Manager or Head of Treasury.
• Support the adherence to treasury policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the utilization of treasury management systems and banking portals for daily tasks.
• Support reconciliation activities and prepare basic treasury reports as needed.
• Work closely with fund accounting teams on the processing of client cash transactions, adopt a client service mentality when dealing with internal teams.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Accounting and People Ops, to ensure seamless operations.
• Identify and suggest opportunities for minor process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support the Treasury Manager and Head of Treasury on ad hoc projects, as needed.

The salary range for the Treasury Associate position is $60,000 - $70,000. Salary is determined based on current market data and candidate experience level.

You may be successful in this role if:

• 1-2 years of experience in treasury operations, finance, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field – or additional related experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You are naturally resourceful, driven and have strong problem-solving skills
• You see the value in providing excellent outputs, being thoughtful and knowing the details make the difference
• You are familiar with software systems including Treasury Management systems, banking portals, G-suite, Microsoft Office, Box, Slack
