Job summary

Aduro Advisors is seeking a Treasury Associate to support day-to-day treasury operations for our venture capital and private equity clients. You will process wires, ACHs, and other payments with accuracy, and maintain documentation and records.

You will collaborate with the Treasury Manager and fund accounting teams, help ensure policy compliance, and assist on ad hoc treasury projects. This role offers hands-on experience and growth in a growing department.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in treasury operations, finance, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field – or additional related experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You are naturally resourceful and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily treasury operations on behalf of clients, including the accurate and timely processing of wires, ACH payments, and other payment types.
• Execute payment instructions and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Identify and elevate potential client service issues or operational discrepancies to the Treasury Manager or Head of Treasury.
• Support adherence to treasury policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the utilization of treasury management systems and banking portals for daily tasks.
• Support reconciliation activities and prepare basic treasury reports as needed.
• Work closely with fund accounting teams on processing client cash transactions and adopting a client service mentality.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Identify and suggest opportunities for minor process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support the Treasury Manager and Head of Treasury on ad hoc projects, as needed.

The Treasury Associate will play a critical role in supporting the day‑to‑day treasury operations at Aduro Advisors. Reporting directly to the Treasury Manager, you'll be responsible for accurately processing a high volume of wires and other payment types for our Venture Capital and Private Equity fund clients. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of treasury operations, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Here Is The Type Of Work You Will Do

• Assist with the daily treasury operations on behalf of clients, including the accurate and timely processing of wires, ACH payments, and other payment types.

• Work closely with fund accounting teams on the processing of client cash transactions, adopt a client service mentality when dealing with internal teams.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Accounting and People Ops, to ensure seamless operations.
• Identify and suggest opportunities for minor process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support the Treasury Manager and Head of Treasury on ad hoc projects, as needed.

The salary range for the Treasury Associate position is $60,000 - $70,000. Salary is determined based on current market data and candidate experience level.

You May Be Successful In This Role If

• 1-2 years of experience in treasury operations, finance, or a related field.
