Job summary

Harmony Public Schools is seeking a Treasury Coordinator at the Central Office – Finance Department in Houston to support treasury and finance operations, maintain capital asset records, depreciation schedules, and ensure compliance with policies. The role involves accurate recordkeeping, journal entries, reconciliations, and collaboration with district staff.

Ability to analyze financial transactions and apply accounting rules.
Maintain accurate financial records and schedules.

Responsibilities

Performs accounting and treasury activities following policies.
Prepares and records journal entries for treasury transactions.
Maintains capital asset records including additions, disposals and depreciation.
Reconciles capital asset records with the general ledger and schedules.
Assists with bond and investment transaction accounting and reconciliations.
Prepares reports and supporting documentation for audits and management.
Collaborates with campus and district personnel to verify financial information.
Supports month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting activities.
