Oracle's Tax & Treasury Organization is enhancing its focus on data center technologies, including infrastructure, energy use, processing power, cost-saving strategies, build vs. lease decisions, and locational advantages. We are seeking a highly analytical individual to join our team as an Analyst, supporting the Treasury Manager on ongoing data center projects and related initiatives from a Tax & Treasury perspective. In this role, the candidate will combine expertise in tax and treasury management with a focus on sustainability, energy, and environmental impact, particularly within Oracle’s data center operations. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data, assessing liquidity, evaluating environmental footprints, and identifying energy optimization and cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, the candidate will assist in gathering critical data on global data center infrastructure, focusing on power consumption, processing capacity, network connectivity, and regulatory incentives. The candidate will help maintain a real-time database to track eligibility for various tax credits, including those related to renewable energy, carbon reduction, accelerated depreciation, and research & development. The candidate’s work will support the alignment of Oracle's data center expansion with sustainability goals and local incentives, optimizing both environmental and financial outcomes. This analyst will be expected to accelerate the collaboration between Treasury and other Oracle LOBs, ensuring that the Treasury U.S. team remains aligned with evolving business needs and delivers timely results. Furthermore, this US-based role will support efficient communication and collaboration with the Treasury top management, ensuring that any issues or updates can be addressed without delay, maintaining the momentum and success in various Treasury projects.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $56,300 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.

Responsibilities
  • Lead process enhancement projects within Treasury planning, focusing on improving efficiency and sustainability practices.
  • Develop and govern Oracle APEX Apps to align with Treasury’s goal of investing with sustainability objectives, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Document and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with a focus on sustainable practices and application management insights.
  • Provide dedicated support to the Data Center initiative, analyzing energy usage, sustainability metrics, and cost-saving strategies.
  • Conduct user training, monitor issues, and resolve problems to ensure smooth operation of sustainability-related tools and processes.
  • Update Confluence and provide status reports to leadership on sustainability progress and key initiatives.
  • Assist the Treasury Manager in completing projects and tasks related to Treasury’s sustainability goals, ensuring alignment with financial and environmental targets.
  • Perform detailed data analysis using Excel and other tools, generating visual presentations for senior management on sustainability metrics and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Research and identify quantifiable economic savings related to sustainability, with a focus on energy optimization and carbon reduction.
  • Attend long meetings, take notes, and distill key insights for executive presentations, ensuring sustainability metrics and findings are accurately captured.
  • Write comprehensive reports synthesizing market research, industry analysis, interviews, and data to provide actionable insights for sustainable decision-making.
