Position Title: Senior Treasury Analyst

Department: Financial Services

Job Description:

General Description: The Senior Treasury Analyst will be responsible for managing daily Treasury operations and preparing analyses of monthly financial statements based on volumes and key metrics compared to budgets and historical trends. As a Financial Analyst, you will support and analyze the development, monitoring, and administration of OU Medicine's Finance and Treasury departments. This position reports to the Director of Treasury.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Determine variances between actual and estimated cash collections based on patient payment history and propose revenue adjustments.
• Analyze expenses by financial statement code, department, sub-account, and period to explain variances to leadership.
• Monitor cash forecasts and cash flow analysis.
• Manage daily cash positioning and transactions.
• Initiate ACH/Wire transactions for operations and debt payments.
• Assist with Debt, Investment, and Compliance activities as needed.
• Support Point of Sale sites and Business Office with deposit needs and issue resolution.
• Assist management in implementing process, policy, and procedural changes.
• Develop and present process improvement recommendations related to cash management.
• Support merchant processing card programs, including documentation and audits.

General Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance on automating and improving processes.
• Document policies and procedures.
• Engage with leadership regarding project challenges to ensure timelines and data analysis meet needs.
• Perform ad hoc variance analyses as required and collaborate with leadership on data and project specifics.
• Support accounting with documentation, general ledger entries, process improvements, and automation related to cash management.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience: 5 or more years of relevant experience required.

Licenses/Certifications: None required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Understanding of hospital finance, especially patient accounting structures.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
