Job Summary:
Salas O'Brien is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Treasury Analyst to join our team. You will play a crucial role in managing the company's cash flow, monitoring liquidity, ensuring effective cash management practices, and engaging with our external banking partners. This position requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize cash resources and contribute to the financial stability of the organization.
In this role, you will:
Responsibilities:
- Cash Management:
- Monitor daily cash positions, including incoming and outgoing transactions, and ensure optimal cash flow.
- Coordinate with all business units to forecast cash requirements and manage cash balances efficiently.
- Review and maintain daily cash flow reporting for all Business Units.
- Setup new bank accounts with new acquisitions and coordinate bank change integration.
- Train new acquisition members to access bank accounts and familiarize them with the electronic banking system.
- Manage and reconcile inter-company cash transfers for all business units.
- Assist the annual audit for all cash transaction testing.
- Banking Relationships:
- Manage relationships with banking partners, including opening and closing accounts, negotiating fees, and resolving issues.
- Facilitate banking transactions, such as wire transfers, ACH payments, and electronic funds transfers.
- Liquidity Management:
- Analyze liquidity needs and recommend appropriate funding strategies to ensure the company's short-term and long-term cash needs are met.
- Implement cash management strategies to optimize returns on excess cash while considering risk factors.
- Prepare regular cash flow forecasts and reports for management, highlighting variances and trends.
- Identify and assess financial risks related to cash flow, interest rate fluctuations, and foreign exchange exposure.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Treasury Operations:
- Maintain accurate records of cash transactions, bank statements, and other treasury-related documentation.
- Reconcile cash accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve treasury processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other finance team members to streamline financial operations.
- Compliance:
- Assist with internal and external audits related to treasury operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in treasury management, cash management, or related roles required
- Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools for cash management and analysis.
- Knowledge of banking platforms and transaction systems.
- Familiarity with risk management principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Adaptability to changing business needs and priorities.

The base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $105,000. Salary is determined by location, experience, skills, and education.
