Job summary

SMS group Inc in the United States is seeking aTreasury Manager to lead day-to-day treasury activities and supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams. You will safeguard liquidity, optimize cash flow, and strengthen working capital while reinforcing financial controls.

The candidate will partner with multiple departments to translate financial insights into business results and drive treasury excellence within a global engineering organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Three to five years of accounting experience and treasury exposure.
• Experience with banking systems, services, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize banking transactions including ACH, wires, LCs, and hedging.
• Manage accounts payable processes, vendor payments, and compliance with terms.
• Oversee accounts receivable, billing, collections, credit management, and cash application.
• Set up and maintain banking controls, access, and approval workflows.
• Oversee employee expense reports and corporate card program processing.
• Collaborate across departments; report key treasury metrics and issues.
• Develop procedures and train staff to follow policies.
• Ensure segregation of duties and strong internal controls across treasury activities.
• Directly manage up to 8 reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll do:

• Oversee and assist in processing banking transactions such as ACH & wire payments, executing letters of credit, performance bonds, hedging transactions and similar instruments
• Manage accounts payable in respect to accuracy in invoice processing, vendor payments, and vendor management; ensure timely, accurate payments and compliance with terms
• Provide oversight of the accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate billing, collections, credit management, and cash application
• Establish and maintain appropriate banking and system controls, including authorized signers, account access, user permissions, and approval workflows
• Oversee employee expense report and corporate credit card program processing
• Serve as liaison between AP/AR/Treasury and other departments, providing service, resolve issues, and regular reporting of key metrics and performance
• Develop procedures and train team members to adhere to company policies and procedures
• Ensure appropriate segregation of duties and maintain internal controls over all treasury activities
• Manages up to 8 direct reports
• Other duties assigned

What you'll need:

• Minimum of a BS degree in accounting
• Minimum of three to five years of experience in accounting
• Understanding of banking systems, services and processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
• Experience with SAP preferred
