Job summary

SMS group USA is seeking a Treasury Manager to oversee day-to-day treasury activities and provide functional leadership to the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams.

You will safeguard liquidity, optimize cash flow, strengthen working capital, and enhance internal controls, partnering across departments to turn financial insight into measurable business results.

The role also emphasizes governance, banking relationships, and process improvements while managing up to 8 direct reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of banking systems, services, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing of banking transactions such as ACH and wire payments.
• Manage accounts payable accuracy and timely vendor payments.
• Oversee accounts receivable to ensure billing, collections, and cash application.
• Establish banking controls, signers, access, and approval workflows.
• Lead the treasury team and develop procedures to ensure internal controls.
• Provide regular reporting of key treasury metrics.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee and assist in processing banking transactions such as ACH & wire payments, executing letters of credit, performance bonds, hedging transactions and similar instruments
• Manage accounts payable in respect to accuracy in invoice processing, vendor payments, and vendor management; ensure timely, accurate payments and compliance with terms
• Provide oversight of the accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate billing, collections, credit management, and cash application
• Establish and maintain appropriate banking and system controls, including authorized signers, account access, user permissions, and approval workflows
• Oversee employee expense report and corporate credit card program processing
• Serve as liaison between AP/AR/Treasury and other departments, providing service, resolve issues, and regular reporting of key metrics and performance
• Develop procedures and train team members to adhere to company policies and procedures
• Ensure appropriate segregation of duties and maintain internal controls over all treasury activities
• Manages up to 8 direct reports
• Other duties assigned

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Five plus of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of banking systems, services, and processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
• Experience with SAP is preferred
