Job summary

SMS group is seeking a Treasury Manager to drive day-to-day treasury, banking activities and financial controls. You will lead the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, safeguard liquidity, optimize cash flow and strengthen working capital.

We need a hands-on leader with treasury, banking and accounting expertise who thrives on cross-functional collaboration and delivering measurable value to the organization.

Qualifications

• BS degree in accounting required.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Understanding of banking systems, services and processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in processing banking transactions such as ACH and wire payments, letters of credit, hedging and similar instruments.
• Manage accounts payable to ensure accurate invoice processing, vendor payments and timely payments in compliance with terms.
• Oversee accounts receivable to ensure accurate billing, collections, credit management and cash application.
• Establish and maintain banking and system controls, including authorized signers, access, permissions and approval workflows.
• Oversee employee expense reports and corporate credit card program processing.
• Serve as liaison between AP/AR/Treasury and other departments, providing service and regular performance reporting.
• Develop procedures and train team members to adhere to company policies and maintain internal controls.
• Ensure segregation of duties and controls over treasury activities; manage up to 8 direct reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

What You'll Need

Minimum of a BS degree in accountingMinimum of three to five years of experience in accountingUnderstanding of banking systems, services and processesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite productsExperience with SAP preferred
