Job summary

The Resource Center, Inc. is seeking an entry-level sewing/production worker to cut, sew, and assemble a variety of straps and pouches. You will operate a commercial sewing machine for bench assembly and related tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with basic knowledge of sewing or production machinery preferred. Ability to follow instructions and shop rules is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Sew straps and pouches in different colors and lengths.
• Operate a commercial sewing machine for bench assembly.
• Perform bar-tacking, stud/post machine, snap-cap machine, hot knife, trimming.
• Handle materials and simple machine operation.

FUNCTION:

Sewing a variety of straps and pouches in different colors and lengths.

SPECIFIC DUTIES: Level 1

1. Use a Commercial sewing machine to perform the following:

• Basic bench assembly,
  

• bar-tacking, stud/post machine,

• snap-cap machine,
  

• hot knife,

• trimming,

• material handling,

• simple machine operation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic working knowledge of sewing or production machinery desired, but not required. Factory production work experience desired. Must be able to follow instructions and shop rules.
