Job summary

• Ability to operate various commercial sewing machines.
• Ability to change needles, wind bobbins and thread sewing machines.
• Fold material to be specific lengths to be sewn with the use of rulers and length guides.
• Make accurate measurements as specified on production sheets when needed.
• Maintain accurate counts of pieces manufactured per job.
• Complete required production logs with required information such as time spent and quantity produced.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Report all discrepancies to appropriate supervisors.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing 30 pounds or less.
