Overview

Traveling Structural Welder - Plant Outages. We’re hiring experienced Stainless Steel Structural Welders (Flux-Core Process) for long term, nationwide turnaround work.

Location: nationwide travel to power plant sites. Compensation includes $25/hour plus travel time pay, with tools, PPE, and hotel accommodations provided. Daily per diem is included, and referral bonuses are offered.

At Industrial Air Flow Dynamics, Inc., we supply all tools and PPE, cover travel and hotel, and pay you for passing the weld test. You’ll be part of a team that keeps America’s power plants running.

Note: This is a travel position requiring ongoing nationwide travel.

Responsibilities

• Weld stainless steel structural components using Flux-Core process (309 wire on 1/2" carbon plate).
• Read and work from detailed blueprints.
• Perform 2G, 3G, and 4G welds in all positions, including overhead and vertical, in high-pressure, physically demanding environments (boilers and scaffolding).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial welding experience.
• Ability to pass bend-tested welds: 2G, 3G, 4G (Flux-Core, 309 wire).
• Comfortable working at heights and in tight, hot spaces.
• Willing to travel continuously nationwide.
• Must be 21+ with a valid ID and clean background (no felonies in the last 7 years).
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Strong work ethic, blueprint reading skills, and commitment to safety.
• Paid airfare and hotel accommodations provided; rental car if needed (valid driver’s license).
• Paid weld test upon successful completion; referrals bonuses when your referrals are hired.
