Job summary

State Bank is seeking a customer‑facing Teller to support our Angola, Indiana office and Williams County, Ohio offices. You will greet customers, process a range of banking transactions, and identify opportunities to meet customer needs.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma, 1 year of related experience, strong math and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role requires occasional travel between locations and adherence to bank policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year related experience preferred.
• Moderate reading, writing and grammar skills required.
• Analytical and mathematics abilities necessary.
• Proficient communicative and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to operate various office machines and lift up to 50 lbs of coin.
• Good visual and auditory capabilities required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Identify new business opportunities and refer customers to sales staff.
• Meet or exceed referral and sales goals for business and consumer clients.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently (deposits, payments, transfers, etc.).
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain cash handling procedures.
• Prepare reports and assist in daily settlement, batch submissions, and scanning tasks.
• Support safe deposit box services and ATM/cash handling as needed.
