Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of related experience preferred.
• Moderate reading, writing and grammar skills are expected.
• Analytical and math skills are beneficial for cash handling and balancing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal relations skills are important for customer interactions.
• Ability to operate various office machines and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• A solid understanding of banking products and services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Refer customers to sales staff for appropriate products and services.
• Meet or exceed referral and sales goals for business and consumer accounts.
• Handle customer questions regarding statements and routine banking matters.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products and services and process deposits, payments, and transfers.
• Balance cash drawer and prepare daily settlement and reports.
• Support travel to other banking centers as needed and collaborate with coworkers to ensure efficient service.
