Job summary

DN Tanks is seeking a Laborer Journeyman to support all phases of the tank building process. You will set the pace, assist in safety and quality, and guide apprentices on site. Travel to US project sites is required and the role emphasizes adherence to DN Tanks safety and QC standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with grading checks, shoring, pipe pit fabrication, and site cleanup, under supervision of Supervisors and Foreman. The position requires PPE use and working at heights.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel to project sites across the United States as directed.
• Owns and maintains general hand tools.
• Able to climb and work at heights on steel/wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, shoring, and scaffolds.
• Capable of wearing PPE including steel-toed boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments in a timely fashion with minimal supervision and support daily plan.
• Understand tank building process and identify next tasks to be completed.
• Assist in checking grade and subgrade elevations using level or transit.
• Assist with shoring erection, bracing, dismantling, and load out of materials.
• Assist with assembling pipe and fabrication of forms for pipe pits.
• Load out the tank including braces and shoring materials.
• Train apprentices and share safety best practices.
• Assist with shoring installation and related tasks.
• Maintain continuous site cleanup and organization.
• Follow safety procedures and company safety policies.
• Participate in task hazard analysis reviews.
• Identify safety hazards and participate in the Award of Excellence program.
• Promote safe work practices and supervise others as needed.
• Adhere to quality control programs and report defects promptly.
• Maintain all certifications per company safety and equipment programs.
• Plan safety into each operation and address hazards proactively.
