Job summary

DN Tanks, a leader in liquid storage tank construction, seeks a Laborer Journeyman to support the tank building process across sites in the United States. You will set work pace, assist crew, and ensure safety and quality under supervision.

The role emphasizes field training of apprentices, operating with safety policies, and maintaining site cleanliness and certifications as part of the DN safety program.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to project sites across the United States.
• Owns and maintains general hand tools.
• Ability to climb and work at heights on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders, shoring, and scaffolds.
• Must wear PPE including steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments in a timely fashion with minimal supervision and align with the daily plan.
• Understand the tank building process and anticipate next steps.
• Assist in checking grade and subgrade elevations using level or transit.
• Assist with shoring erection, bracing, dismantling, and load out of shoring materials.
• Assist with assembling pipe and fabrication of forms for pipe pits.
• Load out the tank including braces, shoring, etc.
• Train apprentices and promote safe work practices on site.
• Follow DN safety policies and participate in THA reviews and the Award of Excellence program.
• Maintain safety and quality control per DN standards.
