Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling Field Supervisor to lead crews and foremen on telecom projects. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate materials and labor, and ensure job reporting and safety compliance across sites.

The role requires prior utility construction crew leadership, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and database tools. Occasional travel and a valid CDL are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading utility construction crews.
• Strong communication and leadership to Foremen and crews.
• Familiarity with telecom MSA contracts is preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and database tools; Google apps a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations on assigned projects.
• Ensure timely completion of jobs and reporting.
• Provide leadership to Foremen and crew members.
• Organize materials, equipment, and labor.
• Verify locates, materials, and billings.
• Complete as-builts and redlines.
• Participate in safety, maintenance, production, and personnel initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise the day to day operations
• Job completion of assigned projects
• Provide communication and leadership to job Foremen and crew members
• Organizing materials, equipment, and labor
• Verifying locates, materials and billings
• Providing all required job reporting
• Completing as-builts and redlines
• Actively participating in and taking responsibility for safety, maintenance, production and personnel related initiatives
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Previous utility construction crew leadership experience is required
• Experience working with telecommunication MSA contracts is strongly preferred
• This position also requires good computer skills specifically database software and Excel
• Prior experience working with google applications is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required
• Local work with occasional travel
• A valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• Class A CDL license is a plus!

The wage range for Traveling Supervisor TelCom Construction is $75,000.00 - $95,000.00.
