Deacon Construction
Deacon Construction is looking for an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join our Special Projects team. This is a field leadership role for someone who thrives on the road, runs tight jobsites, and takes pride in delivering commercial projects on schedule and to a high standard.
At Deacon, we believe that great projects are built by great people, and great people deserve a place where they are genuinely valued. Our focus is simple: put our people first, build excellent projects, and maintain the long-standing client relationships that have defined our reputation for over 45 years.
We work hard, take pride in what we build, and hold ourselves to a high standard. We also know that the best teams are the ones that enjoy showing up every day, which means taking time to connect, celebrate, and support one another, whether you're in the office or out in the field.
As we expand across the West and beyond, we are committed to maintaining the heart of who Deacon is: people who care about their work, their teams, and each other.
As a Traveling Superintendent on Deacon's Special Projects team, you will lead field operations on commercial construction projects serving our dedicated clients across the Western U.S. and surrounding states, with Sacramento, CA, or Dallas, TX as your home base. You will run the day-to-day jobsite, manage subcontractors, enforce quality and safety standards, and partner with the Project Manager to keep every project on schedule and on budget. You will represent Deacon in the field with clients, building operators, and trade partners, and you will set the standard for how we work.
