Job summary

Ryan Companies Inc. in Austin is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to coordinate the work of employees, subcontractors and project management on the jobsite to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion.

The role enforces safety programs while managing and training personnel and understanding the project budget. You will work with trades foremen, superintendents and project management across all scopes, develop CPM schedules, assist with procurement, and maintain quality control with daily

Qualifications

• Post high school education or equivalent in the construction field.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and plans and specifications and give proper direction to project personnel.
• Meeting management skills.
• Team player with team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of Ryan employees, subcontractors and project management on the jobsite to complete on time and on budget.
• Enforce safety programs and manage and train personnel per Ryan policies.
• Develop and track CPM schedules and assist with project budget review and procurement.
• Establish and monitor Quality Control and hold/participate in required meetings.
