Ryan Companies US Inc. in Austin, Texas, seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead on-site construction teams, coordinating Ryan employees and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and on budget while upholding safety standards.

You will read and administer contracts, manage project budgets, value engineer details, assist procurement, and oversee closeout, with experience as superintendent, foreman, and layout specialist preferred.

Qualifications

• Post high school education or equivalent in construction.
• Management and Sales Training.
• Completed all qualifications and responsibilities of Superintendent.
• 2-5 years as a foreman in the trade.
• 1-2 years’ experience in layout.
• 2-5 years as an Assistant Superintendent in the trade.
• 1-3 years as a Superintendent.
• Thorough knowledge of every aspect of building projects.
• Ability to understand shop drawings.
• Ability to read, comprehend prints and specifications to provide proper direction to project personnel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors and Ryan Company employees.
• Manage select projects applicable to experience.
• Comprehend and administer project budgets.
• Read and administer contracts.
• Value engineer projects and details.
• Assist project team with material procurement process.
• Expedite and control all material purchases.
• Negotiate and purchase limited contracts.
• Do estimates for self-performed work (bids).
• Oversee project closeout.
