Job summary

ENFRA in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to provide field leadership for the project(s). You will coordinate vendors and subcontractors, uphold safety, manage the project schedule, and ensure Contract Documents are followed.

This full-time role requires at least 5 years in large commercial construction, with experience in education or healthcare settings. Travel up to 30% to regional sites is expected as part of project delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in LARGE ($10M+) commercial construction with some experience in higher education or healthcare.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
• Experience with pull planning and Last Planner System.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Procore), and scheduling software (Primavera).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion of project safety, lead safety meetings, manage job site logistics, and investigate incidents.
• Create, maintain, and report the Project Schedule; develop recovery plans and lead pull planning efforts.
• Coordinate all site construction activities to meet the project schedule and Contract Documents; oversee QA and trade partner compliance.
• Schedule and attend site inspections with Authorities Having Jurisdiction, inspectors, and clients.
• Coordinate installation between trades and drive progress according to the Project Schedule.
• Provide field leadership for planning and support to the construction schedule.
• Attend jobsites meetings, schedule deliveries, document site progress, and support vendor/sub invoice reviews and status reports.
• Collaborate with Inter-Company field leadership to drive efficiencies and best practices.
• Monitor and produce Daily Reports for accuracy and contract compliance with the project schedule.
• Review submittals to ensure timely procurement of materials for the jobsite.
• Implement the Project Quality Assurance plan and Site Logistics plan; address deficiencies.
• Attend project update meetings to review overall health and progress.
• Support measurement of project progress and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with permits and regulatory requirements; file closeouts timely.
• Document existing site conditions and interface with facility operators on site issues.
• Assist start-up and commissioning activities per company/project requirements.
• Promote and maintain company culture with stakeholders.
