Job summary

ARCO National Construction Company seeks a Lead Superintendent to manage data center projects from preconstruction to punch list. You will direct subcontractors, coordinate with the project team, and drive safety, schedule, and cost performance on mission-critical sites.

Ideal candidates bring 5–25 years in data center construction, strong leadership, and proficiency with Procore/Bluebeam/Excel. This role is based on-site with competitive benefits in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Lead Superintendent with 5–25 years in data center construction or mission-critical projects.
• Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Excel).
• Valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job (standing/walking, lifting up to 50 lb).

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of large-scale data center projects from preconstruction through punch list.
• Direct subcontractors and resolve conflicts to keep schedule and costs on track.
• Support construction schedule with manpower and equipment planning.
• Ensure work meets specifications, stays on schedule, and achieves profitability.
• Prepare job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review requisitions, field POs, invoices, and key project documents.
• Maintain constant communication with the project team about progress, plans and issues.
• Complete daily reports with key project details and client interactions.
• Enforce the company’s safety program across all phases.
• Lead with integrity and uphold company values and quality.

A Day In The Life

• Lead the execution of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects from preconstruction through punch list


• Demonstrate strong leadership with ability and willingness to face challenges, direct subcontractors, and effectively resolve conflicts


• Partner with the project team to support the construction schedule, including activity sequencing, manpower, and equipment needs


• Ensure work meets specifications, stays on schedule, and achieves target profitability


• Assist in the preparation of job progress and cost reports to accurately reflect actual costs


• Review and approve requisitions, field purchase orders, invoices, and key project documents


• Maintain constant communication with the project team to keep them informed of job progress, plans, and issues that may impact costs or schedules


• Complete daily reports documenting key project details, events, conditions, visitors, client interactions, commitments, and approvals


• Enforce adherence to the company’s safety program in all phases of the project


• Lead with integrity and a commitment to quality, upholding company values and focusing on exceeding internal and external client expectations

Necessary Qualifications

• 5-25 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent, with at least 5 years in data center construction or mission critical projects


• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, Excel)


• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence


• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds.
