Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects across the Southeast. You will lead on-site operations, manage field teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive projects from start to finish.

Ideal candidates will have superintendent experience on commercial builds, ability to read drawings, familiarity with Procore or similar software, and willingness to travel extensively. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Ground-up construction experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in banking, retail, restaurant, healthcare, or similar sectors.
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management abilities.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Proficient with construction management software.
• Willingness to travel extensively for assignments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with plans and schedules.
• Monitor progress and address issues to keep projects on track.
• Ensure safety regulations and protocols are followed at all times.
• Conduct quality control inspections to maintain standards.
• Coordinate material deliveries and manage site resources efficiently.
• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
