Job summary

FootBridge is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up and renovation commercial projects across the Carolinas and Southeast region. You will oversee onsite operations, manage subcontractors, track schedules, safety, and quality, and coordinate with Project Managers, vendors, and clients.

Requires 5+ years in field leadership, 75% travel, and Procore proficiency. Base salary $115k–$130k; up to $150k for 10+ years of healthcare/large-scale experience; plus $500/month

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction with field leadership.
• Ground-up or renovation projects valued at $2M+.
• Healthcare/financial/commercial/industrial construction background.
• OSHA 30 certification or renewal.
• Procore, drawings, and project schedules proficiency.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent for an established commercial general contractor supporting projects throughout the Carolinas and surrounding Southeast region.

This position offers the opportunity to lead ground-up commercial construction, renovations, and facility expansions across healthcare, financial services, corporate/commercial, and light-industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily onsite construction operations from mobilization through project completion.
• Manage subcontractors, project schedules, jobsite safety, and quality control.
• Coordinate construction activities with Project Managers, vendors, and clients.
• Monitor schedules, manpower, material deliveries, and project milestones.
• Maintain daily reports, project documentation, and punch lists using Procore.
• Resolve construction challenges and ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with proven field leadership responsibilities.
• Experience managing ground-up commercial construction and renovation projects valued at $2M+.
• Background in healthcare, financial services, commercial, or light-industrial construction.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to renew.
• Proficiency with Procore, construction drawings, and project schedules.
• Strong communication, leadership, and subcontractor management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Base salary of $115,000–$130,000.
• Additional compensation flexibility, potentially up to $150,000 base, for candidates with 10+ years of experience managing large-scale healthcare construction projects.
• $500/month truck allowance plus gas card.
• $150/day per diem while traveling.
• Long-term opportunities with an established commercial general contractor.

Commercial construction experience required. Multifamily-only backgrounds are not a fit for this position.
