Summary:

Supervises and coordinates daily activities of construction workers, contractors, sub-contractors, and Assistant Superintendents. Ensures project progress aligns with plans and Owner specifications in collaboration with the Project Manager, Architects, and Owners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Documentation: Prepares comprehensive Daily Construction Reports, tracks change orders, RFIs, and T&M issues, takes project photos, and communicates effectively with team members and subcontractors regarding project modifications and issues.
• Communication: Conducts weekly subcontractor meetings, enforces subcontractor agreements, maintains regular communication with the Project Manager, and interacts professionally with clients.
• Schedule: Develops and maintains three-week schedules, coordinates with the Project Manager, and ensures timely project completion by proactive scheduling and addressing issues early.
• Safety: Prepares safety reports, conducts pre-task safety meetings, maintains safety documentation, and ensures compliance with safety regulations.
• Storm Water Prevention: Manages SWMP reports and plans, ensuring BMPs are in place and up-to-date.
• Organization: Maintains organized project documents, site cleanliness, and subcontractor responsibilities.
• Quality: Develops deficiency lists, reviews project documents with subcontractors, verifies site layout, and documents inspections.
• Close-out: Manages project turnover, maintains as-built documents, and ensures timely punch-list completion.
• Cost Tracking: Tracks project costs, updates cost logs, and manages expenditures effectively.
• Miscellaneous: Oversees project signage, treats subcontractors fairly, addresses warranty issues, and collaborates with the project team for a unified project focus.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore software is a plus. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED; 7+ years of related experience, preferably on projects valued between $10m-$70m.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversees project site staff, contractors, and subcontractors.
