Job summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. (EEI) seeks a Substation Equipment Operator to support high-voltage substation construction projects across New Mexico. The role involves installing transformers, bus structures, switchgear, and related equipment, with frequent travel to multiple sites.

Applicants must perform physically demanding tasks, lift up to 50 pounds, and work safely around energized systems. OSHA 10 certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Valid State Class C driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Work in physically demanding environments, indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction, demolition, site prep, and landscaping tasks.
• Install transformer banks, bus structures, switchgear, and related substation components.
• Operate with equipment such as man baskets, skid steers, and backhoes.
• Work around energized high voltage systems with care and safety.
• Maintain tools and comply with company ethics and policies.
