Qualifications

• Willingness to travel for projects.

Responsibilities

• Set up hoisting equipment for lifting structural steel members.
• Install rigging from steel to hoist hook; become certified rigger.
• Signal hoisting operator to lift and place steel members as certified signal person.
• Guide members into position using tag line or hands from ladder/scaffold.
• Pull, push, or pry steel members to final position.
• Bolt, weld, and align members for permanent placement.
• Verify alignment with plumb bob or laser tools.
• Operate or assist with cutting and welding of steel members.
