Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Traveling Support Sous Chef for WA/OR. You will oversee the Culinary Department operations, supervise staff, assist with menu development, and support ordering.

This is an energetic culinary leadership role with exposure to hospital dining programs. Ideal candidates have strong kitchen management experience, high-volume production, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience desired.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience desirable.
• Institutional and batch cooking experience helpful.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends; focus on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, presentation.
• Must be proficient with computers; MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook/E-mail/Internet.
• Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs.
• ServSafe certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef with cost controls and budgeting for the account.
• Assist in planning and creating menus.
• Produce and execute catering events.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
