Site Project Manager – Mechanical & Electrical Conveyor Installations

We are seeking an experienced Site Project Manager to oversee the mechanical and electrical installation of conveyor systems across various project sites. This role is crucial in ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. A key focus is managing client communications and overall coordination, enabling the on-site supervisor to focus on field execution.

Responsibilities

1. Project Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and installation timelines.

2. Client Relations: Serve as the main contact for clients—manage expectations, provide updates, and attend meetings on behalf of the site supervisor.

3. Team Support: Provide the installation crew and site supervisor with necessary tools, guidance, and support for effective operations.

4. Quality Oversight: Ensure installation standards are met and all work complies with project specifications and client requirements.

5. Safety Leadership: Promote and enforce safety procedures aligned with industry regulations and best practices.

6. Procurement & Logistics: Oversee the procurement and delivery of conveyor equipment and components to meet project deadlines.

7. Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation and regularly update stakeholders on project progress.

8. Issue Resolution: Identify potential challenges early and develop proactive solutions to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Advanced certifications are advantageous.

2. Experience: At least 5 years of leading conveyor or similar industrial installation projects.
