Upgrade Resources is seeking a Traveling Project Manager/Sr. PM - Mechanical in Texas. The role oversees mechanical construction projects up to $10 million, travels during the week, and includes a relocation option and per diem.

On-site work at project sites in North Texas and West Texas with primary client contact and leadership responsibilities. The candidate will manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety, collaborating with the project superintendent and regional heads, while

Qualifications

• 4-year mechanical engineering or construction science degree or commensurate experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical construction project management experience on diverse projects.
• Willingness to travel weekly or relocate for duration of assignment.
• OSHA-30 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months from date of hire.
• Proven ability to manage scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety on projects up to $10 million.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, and piping systems, codes, and standards.
• PM skills across documentation, cost control, procurement, scheduling, change orders, and negotiating.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory MVR.
• Authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not available.
• Preferred: PMP or related certification; bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management direction on mechanical construction projects up to $10 million at remote sites.
• Lead project with the superintendent and control project development.
• Staff key positions through regional managers and superintendents.
• Serve as primary client/GC/architect-ENGINEER liaison and attend progress meetings.
• Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts; manage subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare and update master project schedule and variance reports.
• Manage all contract costs, billings, collections, and change orders.
• Manage risk and implement corrective measures to protect schedule.
• Ensure contract document controls meet requirements through closeout.
