Job summary
Fessler & Bowman is seeking a Traveling Safety Professional 2 to lead safety initiatives on construction sites. This entry-level role requires OSHA 510/OSHA 30, bilingual English/Spanish, and a valid driver’s license, with travel between job sites and regional offices.
Expect mentorship from Safety/Project Managers and a focus on maintaining safe work environments. The position supports safety training, site inspections, and hazard analyses, with compensation provided for travel where applicable
Qualifications
- OSHA 510 certification required for construction safety.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- CPR and first aid certified.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Fluent in English; Spanish preferred for safety trainings.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of site-wide safety program at projects.
- Perform job hazard analyses (JHAs) and instruct courses.
- Conduct safety inspections and coordinate training schedules.
- Engage line supervisors to ensure on-site policy compliance.
- Document and report safety metrics; drive improvements.
- Provide coaching and mentorship in field safety.
