Job summary

SAS Retail Services, part of Advantage Solutions, is seeking an in-store merchandising leader to support grocery retailers. You will execute category resets, build displays, rotate stock, and ensure planogram compliance across locations, with regular travel and overnight stays.

You will train teammates, assist with scheduling, and provide frontline operational oversight, using a smartphone/tablet for daily reporting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years merchandising experience (stated).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel with overnight hotel stays.
• Able to lead and train teammates.
• Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet to record work.

Responsibilities

• Perform category resets, build displays and end caps.
• Rotate and date-check products, tag updates and price accuracy.
• Ensure shelves meet store and planogram standards.
• Identify out-of-stocks, organize backstock and discontinued items.
• Collaborate with store leadership on project initiatives.
• Record progress, capture photos, and complete required reporting.
• Assist in training new teammates and scheduling needs.
• Provide in-store operational oversight and safety-conscious work.

Responsibilities include completing category resets, building displays and end caps, rotating and date-checking product, placing and correcting tags, and ensuring shelves meet store and planogram standards. You will identify out-of-stock conditions, organize backstock and discontinued items, and work directly with store leadership during project initiatives. The position also requires using company technology—or your own device—to track progress, capture photos, communicate issues, and complete required reporting. You will also assist in training new teammates, support basic scheduling needs, and provide general in-store operational oversight.
