SAS Retail Services, an Advantage Solutions company, is seeking an in-store merchandising leader to support grocery retailers. You will complete category resets, build displays, rotate products, and ensure planogram compliance. This role includes regular travel with overnight hotel stays and training for new teammates.

No prior merchandising experience is required as we provide training and team support to help you succeed. Growth opportunities abound, with potential for additional hours.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Able to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Willing to travel within and outside state with overnight stays
• No prior merchandising experience required as training provided
• 1–2 years of merchandising experience preferred
• Reliable transportation to work location

Responsibilities

• Perform category resets and build displays/end caps
• Rotate and date-check products and adjust tags
• Ensure shelves meet store and planogram standards
• Identify out-of-stock conditions and manage backstock/discontinued items
• Travel with overnight hotel stays and report progress via company tech
• Train new teammates and assist with scheduling and operations
• Collaborate with store leadership on project initiatives

In this role, you will serve as an in-store merchandising leader supporting grocery retailers. Responsibilities include completing category resets, building displays and end caps, rotating and date-checking product, placing and correcting tags, and ensuring shelves meet store and planogram standards. You will identify out-of-stock conditions, organize backstock and discontinued items, and work directly with store leadership during project initiatives. The position also requires using company technology--or your own device--to track progress, capture photos, communicate issues, and complete required reporting. You will also assist in training new teammates, support basic scheduling needs, and provide general in-store operational oversight. This role involves frequent travel with regular overnight hotel stays.

Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Are interested in traveling within and outside of your home state, with overnight hotel stays
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
