Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking a Merchandiser for the Waterbury and Western CT region. You will travel daily to local grocery stores to ensure shelves are stocked and displays are properly set, while packing orders as needed and adhering to planograms.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Communication skills including speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
• Capability to read and interpret written information and comprehend simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory.
• Assist with new display setups and reset existing displays of product.
• Pack out grocery orders when needed.
• Follow planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly.
• Clean, straighten, and organize shelves.
• Remain accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates.
• Ensure transportation to get to and from work.
