Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser to ensure local grocery stores are stocked and shelves are maintained across Fairfield County, Stamford, Norwalk, and surrounding areas. The role requires daily travel to stores, assisting with product displays, and packing out orders. Training is provided, and benefits begin day one.

The position offers a 5-day work week with flexible start times and travel between stores in the territory.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Communication skills including speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
• Capability to read and interpret written information and comprehend simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory.
• Assist with new display setups and reset existing displays of product.
• Pack out grocery orders when needed.
• Follow planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory.
• Clean, straighten, and organize shelves.
• Remain accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates.
• Travel/mobility required.
