Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser to help keep local grocery shelves stocked and ready to serve customers in Fairfield County, including Norwalk and Stamford. You will travel to assigned stores, set up new displays, and ensure products remain neatly displayed and stocked.

The role requires daily travel, attention to planograms, and timely completion of tasks. Benefits begin day one and the position offers a structured schedule with travel between stores.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs
• Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service
• Communication skills including speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
• Capability to read and interpret written information and comprehend simple instructions

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory
• Assisting with new display setups and resetting existing displays of product
• Packing out grocery orders when needed
• Following planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly
• Cleaning, straightening, and organizing shelves
• Remaining accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates
• The nature of the role requires transportation to get to and from work
