Job summary

Goble Family Restaurants – McDonald’s in Maine is seeking a dependable Restaurant Maintenance & Repair Technician to travel between restaurant locations to perform repairs, troubleshoot equipment, and complete preventive maintenance. You will help keep our facilities safe, operational, and in excellent condition.

The role requires diagnosing building and equipment issues, coordinating with vendors when needed, and keeping accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, mechanical, or repair is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple repair requests.
• Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or commercial equipment repair is preferred.
• Restaurant or commercial facilities maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Must be comfortable traveling between Maine locations.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple restaurant locations to complete maintenance and repair work.
• Diagnose and repair general building and restaurant equipment issues.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general facility repairs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and determine whether repairs can be done in-house or by a vendor.
• Complete preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Repair doors, locks, fixtures, and other building components.
• Assist with minor plumbing issues such as faucets, drains, toilets.
• Inspect restaurants for maintenance concerns and communicate needs.
• Maintain tools, parts, and maintenance supplies.
• Coordinate with outside vendors when specialized repairs are required.
• Maintain accurate records of work and parts used.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
