Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to join the primary care float team, supporting Medicare Annual Wellness Visits across 11 primary care offices. This RN will travel to a different office each day, independently conducting Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and completing preventative screenings.

The schedule rotates biweekly with advance notice of assigned locations. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of RN experience, ambulatory care exposure, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree Nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
• Licenses and Credentials: Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required.
• Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred.
• Experience: Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required.
• Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
• Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
