Job summary
Healing Partners is seeking a Regional Float Nurse Practitioner to cover a defined region, traveling between Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will plan, direct, and evaluate resident and staff health care, treating chronic and acute conditions, performing procedures, and writing prescriptions within authorized scope.
You will work with the medical director and coordinate with PCPs and other specialists to optimize wound care outcomes and facility health.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed APRN in the state.
- Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
- Current active RN license in the state.
- APRN license must be active and unrestricted.
- Master’s degree in Nursing with NP focus.
Responsibilities
- Float regionally across designated facilities and cover schedules.
- Plan, direct, and evaluate resident and employee health care in long-term care.
- Assess and treat chronic and acute illnesses and injuries.
- Perform bedside procedures within scope and protocols.
- Collaborate with the medical director on treatment plans.
- Provide updates to PCP/CM/referring physicians on patient status.
